Festival of Genomics, London, January 2017: Qatar Genome Programme was featured in the Festival of Genomics in London with a presentation by Dr. Said Ismail, Qatar Genome Programme Manager on January 31st, where he addressed a large audience in talk entitled “The Qatar Genome Programme; Seizing a Unique Opportunity”, the talk reflected an overview of the programme aims and structure, the deliverables of the Pilot Phase, and plans of the next large scale phase.
The Festival of Genomics covered a wide variety of areas this year including: Cancer Genomics, Data Sharing, Drug Development, Enabling Data, Genomics in the Clinic and Genetic Counseling in the genomics era.
