Dr. Asmaa Al-Thani, Chair of the Qatar Genome Programme (QGP) and Qatar Biobank Board Vice Chairperson, presented a lecture on the efforts of the State of Qatar in establishing the Qatar Biobank Qatar and the Qatar Genome Programme, entitled “ The Road Map to Qatar Biobank and Qatar Genome Programme” as part of her participation in the Ninth Scientific Conference of the Genetic Science under the title "Towards the Bahraini Genome Project: Based on International Experiences.", which was held in Al Jawhara Centre for Molecular Medicine & Inherited Disorders.
